Join the Literacy Council of Kingsport in our efforts of providing a safe and welcoming environment for adult speakers of other languages to practice their English language skills by volunteering as an Adult ESL Tutor. Currently, we have more than 30 ESL students on the waiting list for tutors.

Tutor Orientation & Training:
New Tutor Training is currently scheduled for September 21st 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Registration is required, please email or call to let us know you would like to attend.

The mission of the Literacy Council of Kingsport is to provide one-on-one tutoring for adults and qualified children to improve their literacy skills as well as achieve their individual goals. We also advocate for literacy in the community.
